As part of the eTwinning project called Future Foods, we organized a special bakery tour with our students under the theme of “The Adventure of Bread”. In this event, where they participated as food detectives, our students followed the traces of traditional foods. They observed the journey of bread from field to table and gained important information about the production process. They learned traditional methods by chatting with the bakery staff. With this meaningful event, our students both discovered the cultural value of bread and gained awareness about conscious consumption.
